Good Afternoon everyone,
This will most likely be a quick blog post, but I am here to share some of the social media accounts, websites and so forth that I follow or use to help through my recovery and mental health. I now have 4 weeks left at my Eating Disorder Program and it seems to have gone by as quick as it came. I am finding myself struggling more with my body image but I am working on getting better with that of course, as well learning to cope with my anxiety & depression better in my groups at the Health Science Center.
Websites:
- https://www.7cupsoftea.com (Anxiety/Depression/ Eating Disorders/ Realtionship & more support *online community* Also has a iPhone/Andriod App)
- National Eating Disorder Information Center
- Mentorconnect (online private eating disorder recovery community)
- https://www.recoverywarriors.com/ (Also has a iPhone/Android App called “Rise Up” & they have a great podcast)
There are also many other online support groups if you simply search “Eating Disorder Online Support”, these are just my favorite. Also note that there are a ton of online support groups through Facebook Groups, such as “Recovery Warriors” which they are closed groups.

“In my 8th week of recovery from bulimia and struggling almost everyday with body image but I am at least learning to love myself and pushing myself to wear items that make me extremely anxious as I am and have gained weight, I am beautiful no matter my size. The number on the scale doesn’t fucking matter.” – July 22nd, 2015
