Hello Everyone! I wanted to post a quick recipe I came across searching the web, except I didn’t really follow the orignal recipe that I found to the dot. Tonight I decided to try out Steak Fingers because taking Customer Service calls for the states I’ve heard quit a bit about them and never heard of them before that.
What you will need
+Canola Oil +Tenderized beef round steaks + 1 cup of flour + 1/2 cup of milk + 2 eggs + salt & pepper (to your taste) + any seasoning you wish (I used a bit of seasoning salt and lemon pepper salt)
You will need to mix your eggs in one bowl, and then mix your flour and spices in another. Simply dip your steak strips in the egg then the flour, after that you will want to cook till golden brown on each side.
Today’s blog will consist of me giving you a link of sites I enjoy browsing on, shopping on, and sometimes just get my inspiration from. I find a lot of sites that I can purchase certain items for that cost $40+ I can find on many other sites for cheaper such as AliExpress that sells items just like them for about 50% cheaper, which in my world that works out awesome because living on a budget can make it hard to purchase $60.00 t-shirts and $150.00 shoes. I know many may not agree with purchasing items from China & Japan just because you don’t know how these items are really being created or produced but in all reality I can only have the best hopes in the person I’m purchasing these from.
I won’t say I am cheap, do I buy items based on a strict budget that I already cross? of course, because I am sorry but online shopping is incredibly addicting and easy, am I smart for some of the sites I find? of course because some of the items I have purchased can be incredibly expensive on some sites and you will notice that by some of the links I am about to post because I am willing to sometimes spend that $30 on a pillow or rad crop top I can not find anywhere else (sometimes a woman needs to spoil herself, because I am sorry I do not just do my job because I love it, I do it because I need to pay my rent and sometimes I need to credit myself for the amount of bullshit I take)
What a beautiful weekend I had, I had no time to post because I was to busy enjoying my fun in the sun… well as much fun as I could anyways in the amount of sun we had here in. I did so much this weekned that looking back at it is almost like a dream, theres a list of places thast I ate at which I could have taken pictures at but I only did at one.
Here is the list of places I went too this weekened:
Muddy Waters Smokehouse
Out of the 6 places we ate at I would have to say that Original Joes & Earls was the best, the steak at Earls was quit amazing and the salad with the blue cheese dressing was actually fabulous at Original Joes, I recommend Canadians go there if you have not.
This weekend was filled with shopping and food, it always happens that way where the weekends generally turn out that way and I cant complain because what woman doesn’t love these things, and it included video games! I mean in all reality this was a great weekend, filled with booze, love, video games, shopping, and great food, I really cant complain at all because everything was perfect.
I got fanstic clothes (blogged about earlier), new hand santizer, groceries, frozen alcoholic drinks, netflix subscription, great drinks, great food, great people. If every weekend could be like this weekend I would die happy.
There once was a time in my life where I would say “I will never be that girly girl” but I think it is safe to say I have stepped into a whole new world in the last 5 years where I really started to embrace the joys of being a woman. I never was that girl that would obsess over the newest trends or follow the make up world but in the past 5 years I have grown very fond of all these things. I started todays blog this way because I am posting some photos of the outfit I purchased today that I went completely out of my comfort zone for and at the end of the day I am happy I challenged myself and went for it because I think skirts and crop tops are offically my new favorite thing.
The items I purchased today are from Ardene which is a Canadian clothing company, the total I spent was $42.38. I purchased 2 crop tops (same style, different designs) and the high waisted skirt. If you fear stepping into the world of summer skirts & crop tops for any reason at all I recommend you try to step out of that comfort box and explore all the beautiful options we have as women for fashion, especially this one.
Today I thought I would write about one of my favorite healthier snacks I like to make at home when I am feeling in the mood for them! They are called “Roasted Chick Pea Snacks” and the beautiful thing about them is that you can make them to any which way you prefer. I like to make mine as Chili flavored because it adds a little kick to the snack.
You can either use canned chick peas or dried chick peas (non-canned), which I prefer non-canned chick peas because they are healthier! The only downside to dried chick peas is the fact you need to soak them for about 12 hours, but let me tell you it is worth it!
Here is my recipe:
-3 Cups of Chick Peas (or 2 cans) -drizzle olive oil on the chick peas in a container (some recommend 2 tablespoons) -add which ever spice you wish -Mix the spice & Olive oil into the chick peas next you are going to want to evenly layer the chick peas on a baking sheet and cook at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
On April 16th I placed an order on AliExpress and I received it on May 9th, 2014. The total amount spent on all 3 items was CAD $31.49.
The payment went through immediately and the items were shipped out on April 20th,2014 and arrived on the above date which to me is quick and awesome!
I love all 3 items that I purchased and received, for the prices I spent and the materials of the products it was well worth my money and I will be ordering more from AliExpress as well this specific seller on that site.
Below is the direct links to each item if you wish to purchase them!! 🙂
I have used this exact same brand multiple times in the past because of how simple & easy they were to use for a fun day or night out! I have actually recommended these countless times to friends & family members because they are priced at a reasonable price and sometimes we don’t want to spend $40.00 or move on Shellacs/Gel Nails that last up to 3 weeks or longer and then have to go back just to get them taken off.
These nails are as simple as cleaning your nails off properly and choosing the right sizes for the right nail and then you have a beautiful set of nails done in a short period of time. If you apply these nails correctly they can last up to a week, just be sure to take your time while doing them and not to rush them so you know that they are properly on.
This weekend I will post a photo of the nails I’ve used from the set,
“I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.”
